Advice to Reality Show Contestants

Before you can actually sign up for anything to be featured on a TV show. Here's a few things you need to consider

American Idol:
*If you can't sing, don't bother auditioning.

*Making silly gimmicks, costumes or other craziness WILL NOT be taken seriously.

*If you're not liked by Simon, don't bother changing his mind. Quit even though you're through.

Survivor:
*If you cannot stand the heat, monsoon rain in random times, don't sign up.

*Backstabbing is necessary trait. Never think you can be super nice to win. That's really rarely happen.

Amazing Race:
*If you cannot swim, drive a manual car, afraid of heights, water, wild animals etc. Don't sign up.

*If you're actually facing your fears, suck it up and do it. Don't whine and complain.

*If you cannot appreciate foreign cultures, don't bother signing up.

America's Next Top Model
*You must be at least 5'7". Sorry, if you're short, you're standing no chance in the real world.

*If you are 23 and above, don't bother starting out as a model. Unless you look REALLY, REALLY youthful.

*You really have to endure Tyra's craziness to survive.

*Bitchiness is a plus.

Home Run!

In my last legs of my academic year, and I am chugging along and barely hanging on.

I wish I still have the passion to move on. But argh, where is it? Is it because my batch is dwindling? Or is it the project isn't fun anymore? Is it just me? Come on, two more months and you're outta here!

Focus! Focus! Damn you Facebook! Twitter! and forums I visit! Damn you distractions!

Anyways I have come up with stories to pitch once I graduate. Funny I have some enthusiasm for what it is uncertain in the FUTURE, but not what's current and concrete. =P

Oh, I have a new pair of glasses. Will post a picture if I am in the mood for pictures.

Compulsive Actions, Crazy Things

I admit.... If I have the time, I'll do the most craziest things on earth. To the point of obsession. Such as:

1. Take a piece of paper and start writing, just write ANYTHING. Doesn't really have to make sense, or having a story. Just words and words form into sentences.

2. Alternatively, Draw anything... and it makes a whole composition of drawings fit together as art.

3. Playing the same songs on repeat.

4. Go out and walk(drive) .... to places new and yet familiar. And comeback without even caring weather you get/found/discover something.

5. Camwhoring. (NOt me... but i know a lot of people do. A LOT of people.)

New Things and Experiences

Two things I have to tell you all here:

1. For the first time in 6 years, I have finally changed my phone! it's a nokia 2630 (not the most state-of-the-art i know, but the drastic change from my old phone is good enough *cough* 3315 *cough* ^_^)

For those who has similar phones that i have now, or even better than mine, you will know that most phones nowadays are featuring a lot of things other than a mere tool of communication. Camera is becoming a staple tool for phones nowadays, along with a radio, recorder, a jukebox... well if any technology can be placed in a itsy bitsy phone someone out there will do it.

Actually I don't mind not having all the fancy applications in my phone. All i need for a mobile phone that can be called out to people, send and receive SMSes. However, I don't mind owning a much more sophisticated phone :D.

2. My Mom wants to put the rarely used oven to use. So she told us to bake a cake! Cake baking is kinda fun, and messy at the same time. To top it off, it's pretty simple, more simple than I thought. Just dump all the ingredients in phrases, place it in the oven and viola, a cake! However, the cake is pretty okay... thought I can do better. Oh well, there's always next time to experiment different flavors of cakes and other pastries. Someday we might not need to buy ourselves cookies during the festive seasons.

Just when you think life is boring, out comes something unexpected to overthrow your mundane life and make it interesting.

Why? It kinda tells a little bit about you. Say for instance "Are you a workaholic?" determines whether you a tense working freak, or a total slacker.

Sometimes the results turned out to be downright funny, because it turned out NOT even close to what you are. It's a pretty good laugh sometimes.

Happens Once Every Four Years

Look at the date today. Yeap, it's February the 29^th! (or ventinueve de Febrero in Spanish)

As all of you know, 2008 is a leap year. Every year divisible by 4 is a leap year, so every 4 years there is a February 29th, Right? Not exactly, because years that can also divisible by 100 is NOT a leap year, like 1700, 1800, 1900 except it is also divisible by 400. So years like 1600, 2000, 2400 is a leap year.

I could not imagine some people actually have to wait for 4 years to celebrate their actual birthday. >_<
