Year of the.....

How's your Chinese New Year to you?

Well, mine is the usual hike to Genting Highlands (as one of my aunts has a vacation home at one of the resorts. And yes, it's a yearly thing. So don't be jealous coz i'm getting a little too tired of that place already) Ang pow claiming (there was a slight hike though :P), yee sang tossing, the usual reunion dinner, and the conversations somehow centered on gambling and 4D numbers.

Sounds like a typical Chinese family to you, eh?

Yes. it's becoming a trend in most people that most people would try their luck on the betting table. I too fall under the "most people" category. Tried blackjack to score some extra money, and heck the results varies greatly, VERY greatly. At one point I was winning, then somehow I lost whatever I won. Oh well, that's life, you win some and you lose some. Most of all it revolves around taking risks.

Once again Happy New Year to all!

The Sims 2 Music Videos

These are the music video made by EA games over the years.

Don't worry about what they were singing. They are merely the gibberish version of the actual songs.

Chinese New Year's coming...

Yea, It's the time of the year again. The trip back home, family reunions, any most of all extra pocket money earned via ang pows!

This year it's the year of the Earth Rat. Why earth? wel, it's something i learned a little about Chinese horoscope. Check out this year's final digit. 2008, number 8 is the earth year, so is number 9. 0s and 1s are metals, 2s and 3s are water, 4s and 5s are wood and 6s and 7s are fire.

Hope everyone has a great time in this new year ! =)

Riot!

I wanna go crazy. SERIOUSLY!

My body goes hyper at one moment, then gets freaking tired at the other.

I'm watching every event, scenes and movies from the most serene to the most chaotic.

I'm reading random things.

My track listing goes very random.

I'm feeling up and feeling down at the same time...

I want to escape the present, going to another place. And hope to NEVER come back.

I want to scream and shout, and I want some quiet time.

Unless something happening going on in my life...

I will remain this ironic state forever...........................................

Success and Failure

There are a lot of things I did in my life.

Some of them I enjoy.
Some of them I love.
Some of them I just do it for the heck of it.
Some of them I regret.
Others I seem I don't know what am I doing.

Regardless what I did in my life, some things I did to make my goals achieved, some of them well, just not going anywhere,Others seem to move towards my goals slowly.... Hopefully it will reach till the end.

I know, it sounds like a meaningless rant. I just want to write something on my blog. That's something I do, possibly enjoying it.

I admit there are a series of turns recently in my life... ask me personally if u care to know what happened.

Cheers.

New Year 2008: First Post

Well... another year has gone... I felt there are so much ups and downs, especially throughout the university years...

Anyways I just came back from Bangkok Thailand weeks ago... I share some of the pictures at my Facebook profile. Check it out! Love the fact i celebrated my new year in another place other than watching fireworks in KL.

Flying to Bangkok

For those who fly often, this flying experience thing is nothing new to you. For me this is the first time flying. It's a really cool experience; and an exiciting one too.
First of all, i have to check in EXTREMELY EARLY for the flight scheduled. the flight is at 10.40 and i have to start moving at about 6.30am! After all the procedures are done, there's still time to hangout for a while.
LCCT entrance
A little busy cafe at the airport. Expensive as hell but heck i was hungry for anything.

30 minutes before take-off, it's time to board the plane. You know what, people already lining up at the front gate for ages to board the plane, it sort of reminds me of people queuing up for buses and people scrambling in to board the flights. The best part is the moment we actually take off. It's a great view from above. =)

Land at Bangkok, everyone has to take a bus designated for the flight to the airport. Funny thing is there are no seats in the bus (maybe it is to cater more people in one trip), so everyone has to stand throughout the journey. Fair enough...

See you guys soon for more updates!

Christmas is Great!

hey hey,

My family hosted a christmas party at my house. Food is great and all (thanks to my dad who has not been offering help in the kitchen despite being a chef), and i managed to take a snapshots of the Christmas Cakes. Moreover, a Christmas meal is not complete without a roasted turkey!

Of course, there is the usual Christmas Gifts session that brought both joy and surprises for everyone. Some gifts are pretty predictable. Take me for example, i got FOUR t-shirts this year! Yes, and the only surprising factor is the designs.

Once again, Merry Christmas and a happy new year to all!

2008 - An Age Old Thing in the New Year

The age old ritual
done in the new year
Parties and countdown
Friends getting together and fireworks
and not forget the Auld Lang Syne

The age old question
asked when the new year arrives
"What you have done?"
"What have you achieved?"
"Any new aspirations?"

The age old thought
Brought up during the new year
A time to reflect
A time to prepare
A time to look back
and the time to look forward

So many age old things to do
Done in the new times and tide
